Hello out there!!! My name is Smokey, it's my middle name and it's the one I choose to go by, I love it and I love that my dad had this great sense of humor when it came to naming me :) . I'm a 40 year old mother of 3 children, two of them adult step children and one of whom passed away six years ago at the age of nine. His name was Eathan and he was and always will be the truest love of my life. I will be writing about him from time to time, but this is my introduction of myself to you. Because of circumstances of his passing and other tragic events that happened in that year I have found it very difficult to go out in public and have a "normal" life so I've found it really beneficial to me to reach out to people in this way. In those six years I've gone from the lowest point in my life to perhaps a happy medium most of the time, so I think I'm ready to open up and share with all of you. I've found a love of beauty, of fitness and health and all of these things I can do in the privacy of my home without the fear of a public break down. I'm hoping this introduction doesn't turn people away from my blog, this is as real as it gets for me. I know I can't be the only one out there, so I'm hoping by blogging about what I love and in between blogging about my family I make some people feel comfortable enough to come here and share their love of beauty, health, fitness and their own families. I'll be doing reviews on beauty and health related products as well as reviews on beauty subscription boxes I receive in the mail. At some point as I get settled in, I may be doing some beauty giveaways, but that's in the future. I also have a one year old grand daughter who I love very much. I wont be posting pictures of her here, as I don't feel safe enough to post them on a public forum, but she is so beautiful. I'm married to a wonderful man who is also a great friend and gives me as much support as he can, We've been together for 17 years and officially married for 10 years. I can't imagine my life without him <3
